JJ Here we come!

Here is our latest pic of our little guy! It is soooooooooo hard to believe that in just 5 short days we will be holding him in our arms!

Travel Itinerary

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE A TRAVEL ITINERARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tues. 1/15 Leave from hometown airport

Wed. 1/16 arrive at Beijing International Airport

collect luggage and go through immigration and customs

meet Frank at customs exit and go to domestic departure

8:35pm take HU7372 to Taiyuan, arrive at 9:45pm, go to

Yuyuan Hotel Taiyuan

Thurs. 1/17 meet JJ and do adoption paperwork ( OH MY GOSH! WE CAN'T WAIT!)

Fri. 1/18 - Mon. 1/21 sightseeing

Tues. 1/22 get adoption paperwork and JJ’s passport

2:40pm take CZ3530 to Guangzhou

fill out forms for U.S. visa

Wed. 1/23 medical tests and photographs

11:00am U.S. Consulate

Thurs. 1/24 get JJ's visa

Fri. 1/25 8:25am Guangzhou to Hongkong - CZ301

leave Hong Kong at 11:40am and we will arrive, get this........ 10 minutes later, at 11:50 in Chicago!

Yeah right! JJ will become a citizen in Chicago! Does this mean he will be a Cubs fan?

leave Chicago at 3:50 pm and arrive at our airport at 6:41pm (to be exact)

Duece's Military Training

LOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, finally we are LOA!!!!!!!!!! Our letter of acceptance came on Friday. It was stamped and sent from China on 12/19/07, delivered to our agency, picked up and signed by Will and me on 12/21/07, returned to the agency and will be back in China on 12/24/07, which just happens to be Christmas Eve. We are over the moon with excitement, anxiety, and nerves! Now we wait for TA (our travel approval) and then finally, we will be off to China. Can you even believe it? We look forward to our next post because that is when this whole journey will actually be beginning.

It is sooooo hard waiting for my mom and dad to come get me! We are currently on day 65! Hopefully, we will be hearing something soon!

LID!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are LID!!!!!!!!! We just received word today from our agency that they received official word from China that we were logged in on September 28th. Now, we just have to sit tight and wait for our LOA and TA! We are coming baby JJ!
